News Writers Needed

We’re looking for a small handful of vigilant, thoughtful individuals to help us post relevant local, national, and worldwide news on our website.

This role requires the ability to write in a neutral, nonpartisan, fact-based way, with full sources cited. If you’re curious about the style we’re looking for, you can review the two posts currently on the site to see whether this feels like a good fit.

Our goal is to provide clear, digestible news for our community, information that keeps people informed without fueling fear or panic. This is not a full-time position, but it does require staying reasonably up to date on the news.

You would be asked to post multiple times per week, and potentially more frequently when needed. Writers will also help keep an eye on the chat room to avoid duplicate posts unless a story is a verified update.

We aren’t sure exactly how many writers we’ll bring on yet, but we do need a few dedicated people who are active, reliable, and committed to thoughtful information sharing.
